It’s been a tumultuous year, to say the least, and many of us have uprooted our lives to be closer to family, downsize, or just strike out on our own without roommates. Others are still sheltering in place at the same apartment they’ve been holed-up in since March, but may be hunting for investments that can add something to their well-trodden spaces: Organization, ergonomics, and other tech-y upgrades, perhaps.
Thankfully for anyone hunting for deals on home goods, we’re nearing the one time of year where prices on appliances and home tech drop to the lowest we’ll see them all year, otherwise known as Black Friday. It turns out that there are lots of early Black Friday deals on kitchen and home that are available to shop right now, so you can find the things you need without throwing your budget out the window.
Sales this month will be coming and going up until Black Friday itself, but we’re here to help by singling out some of the best deals all month long, along with where to find specific types of home items (like the best savings on meal prep tools or some discounts on appliances for new homes, like washers and dryers). We’d suggest bookmarking this page, as we refresh it with all of the best Black Friday home and kitchen deals as they go live. And if you’re eyeing bedding and mattress deals for the home, we’ve catalogued all of those right here.
Walmart’s a great place to start for Black Friday if you want to make some small but impactful home upgrades. Take this early deal on a compact dryer, which is great for any small apartment dweller who wants the full washer-dryer experience (a small luxury). Walmart is also offering a bevy of discounts on small home tech appliances that can help you relax: Perhaps you want a robot vacuum that can do the cleaning while you work from home, or a pressure cooker that you can set and forget until dinner time.
Target’s early Black Friday deals launched at the beginning of the month, and include savings on some of the most coveted kitchen and tech items—including steals on Dyson vacuums, Instant Pots, Keurigs, and Nespresso Espresso machines—plus new TVs and printers. It’s an excellent time to stock up if you’ve just moved into a new home, or just looking to buy something fancy. Savings are available for a short time only, and new deals roll in and out every week, so be sure to keep tabs on Target’s homepage if you’re tracking anything in particular.
Best Buy’s known for its Black Friday tech deals—it’s one of the most reliable places for sourcing discounts on laptops, speakers, and TVs—but their home and kitchen deals aren’t bad, either. Like many other retailers, their savings started early, encompassing a range of discounts through Black Friday itself, and including short-lived daily deals on individual items like Keurig coffee makers. We’d suggest shopping Best Buy for their smart home deals, though, where you’ll find some great discounts on WiFi-enabled home security and thermostat systems.
There’s perhaps no cooking pan more beloved on Instagram than Our Place’s multi-tasking Always Pan, which transitions between a steamer to a skillet to a sauce pan (and comes in a range of dusty pastels). It would make a great gift for a home chef, or yourself, and now’s your chance to get it while it’s $50 off. Just use the code SUPERSALE any time between now and November 30 to save.
We spotted a wealth of meal-prep tools and cooking gadgets at Sur La Table’s Friends & Family event, which is offering 20% off beloved brands like All Clad, Cuisinart, Fellow, and Anova. We’d suggest browsing if you’re looking for a food processor, in particular, and there’s even a Kitchenaid stand mixer in the mix if you’re willing to splurge.
At ABC Carpet & Home’s Winter Warmup Sale you can save up to 30% on furniture, bedding, plus kitchen and bath items (depending on how much you spend). Take 20% off all orders over $100, 25% off orders over $500, and 30% off orders over $1,500.
