Black Friday 2020 Early Deals Calendar 4x3

Alyssa Powell/Business Insider

2020 cares very little for precedent and that includes the Black Friday schedule. Historically, the enormous shopping holiday occurs the day after Thanksgiving, but this year, sales begin as early as the first week of November.

Below, we’ve rounded up the best early sales from the likes of Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart, plus answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding this year’s atypical shopping holiday. We’ll also be updating this story to include new information as we inch closer and closer to the big day.

Amazon is one of the best stores to shop on Black Friday, but you don’t need to wait until then to start shopping. Amazon’s pre-Black Friday sale is currently underway with fresh markdowns coming every day. During its Holiday Dash sales event, shoppers can expect new, limited-time deals on everything in tech, home and kitchen, fashion, and more.

This 55-inch LG 4K TV packs an incredible OLED panel that can display deep blacks, Dolby Vision, G-Sync for gaming, and both Alexa and Google Assistant.

The 8th-gen 10.2-inch iPad is the best option for most people, as it offers the best balance of performance and value.

The OnePlus Buds offer up good sound, water/sweat resistance, and excellent battery life at a much lower price than Apple’s AirPods.

Best Buy is offering many Black Friday discounts right now. During the storefront’s pre-Black Friday sale, shoppers can expect new markdowns every week. Look for the “Today’s Black Friday Ad Deals available now” section to see which discounted products you can order now.

Discounted in the red and black colors, this is a huge discount and new all-time low for a pair of totally wireless headphones from Beats by Dr. Dre.

This TCL 50-inch 4 Series 4K TV packs a built-in Google Assistant and a surprisingly good 4K UHD HDR-ready panel. Right now, this Best Buy-exclusive model is selling for $120 less than usual.

The Home Depot’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales will kick off early, starting on November 6, and will last through December 2. Shoppers can expect discounts on appliances, home improvement tools, holiday decor, and so much more. And, while only a select few of the deals are available now, shoppers can see all of Home Depot’s upcoming deals through the store’s app.

The KitchenAid K45SS 4.5-Quart Classic Series Stand Mixer is the ideal mixer for beginner bakers since it is affordable and can handle most mixing tasks. The deal goes live on November 6.

With this smart thermostat, you’ll be able to program your home temperature with an app or voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant, track monthly energy use, and receive timely reminders and notifications. The deal goes live on November 6.

Target’s Black Friday sale will last all month, with new bargains cycling through every week. The week of November 1, Target will offer discounts on select electronics, including Beats Studio 3 headphones for $175 and Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones for $200, with more deals during the weekend.

Shoppers can expect deals on home and kitchen products during the week of November 8 and discounts on apparel and beauty products during the week of November 15. By the final week, shoppers should expect markdowns on nearly everything, including toys, kitchen products, electronics, and gaming.

The new Beats Studio 3 are the best noise-cancelling headphones for iPhone users and right now, shoppers can pick up a pair for $175. These headphones rarely stray from the typical selling price of $230-$250, so this limited time discount is a bonafide deal.

Shoppers should expect markdowns on TVs, smartphones, and tablets online on November 11 starting at 7 p.m. EST and in-store on November 14 at 5 a.m. local time. The final crop of deals will drop on November 25 at 7 p.m. EST online and in-store on Black Friday, November 27 at 5 a.m. local time.

When is Black Friday?

Black Friday is coming November 27 but several retailers are opting for a month-long version of the shopping event this year.

Shoppers can expect thousands of deals to crop up on the days leading up to and following the big sales event, on Cyber Monday and beyond. However, we still expect the majority of retailers to wait until the big day to drop the very best deals.

Can I shop in-store on Black Friday?

Generally speaking, yes. For most retailers, stores will be open during Black Friday but it will certainly look different from previous years. Stores will limit the number of shoppers allowed in the store at any given time, plus require face masks while indoors.

Which is better Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

This year, the lines dividing Black Friday and Cyber Monday are mostly blurred. In fact, most stores will incentivize online shopping more by offering deals earlier for online shoppers.

Of course, shopping during Black Friday month can be overwhelming. To help, we’re curating the best deals we find all month long.

What should you buy on Black Friday?

Black Friday is an excellent opportunity to buy — and save on gifts  — before the last-minute rush.

Shoppers can expect tons of great deals online way in advance and the days following the big event. Historically speaking, prices tend to drop to all-time lows, often beating out the markdowns seen over the course of the year. The sale covers every product category: tech, home and kitchen, fashion, and smart home.
