Remodel of Sheldon Academy completed

After two years, Sheldon Academy of Innovative Learning has finished construction that has given the K-8 school a complete overhaul. The Woolner Avenue campus received a 24,360 square-foot two-story classroom building, replacing 18 aging portables and two portable bathrooms.

Also included in this construction is a 5,965 square-foot library, which had previously been housed in a portable building. The new library features a college and career classroom as well as an “innovation lab” with a roll-up door to allow students to learn outside.
