The Stafford London has unveiled new accommodations by locally based studio Rosendale Design. The new Park suite and 17 guestrooms revitalize the visitor experience at the iconic hotel with an emphasis on the site’s stately architectural heritage and quintessential British elements.
Overlooking Green Park in the St. James’s district, the opulent Park suite combines two smaller guestrooms into a unified maisonette suite equipped with a sprawling terrace. Luxe finishes adorn the central sitting room, which is also adorned with custom wallpaper and fabrics. Floral notes accent the green palette to form a backdrop that showcases British craftsmanship via bespoke seating, burr walnut tabletops, and more. A Calcutta marble fireplace anchors the suite, along with an LED lighting design that sets a theatrical ambiance.
Located on the fourth and fifth floors, the revitalized Main House rooms were updated with a refreshing palette of pale blue, green, and red tones, as well as rich mahogany furnishings, floral curtains, and new carpets. Brass detailing and fixtures were also installed to accentuate the existing interior architecture. Moreover, each of the revamped guestrooms features distinctive artworks sourced from locally based talents, creating a strong sense of authenticity.
